Lydia Hazan, M.D.
Dr. Lydia Hazan graduated from McGill University and completed her residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She is the founder of Impact Clinical Trials, and has been a leading investigator in over 20 studies in the fields of pediatrics, gynecology and dermatology with a focus on Pediatric Hypertension, Type 2 Diabetes and High Cholesterol. She is also the founder of PowerPlay, a weight loss program for children. Dr Hazan also serves as a medical consultant for ABC, NBC and Univision News. She has appeared on such telvesion shows as CBS Women to Women, UPN News, ABC News, Univision-TV, Telemundo and KTLA News. Dr Hazan was hired to participate in the VERB campaign sponsored by the CDC to take part in a six month feature story in Fitness Magazine. She is a major speaker and published author on topics of childhood obesity and Type 2 Diabetes. Dr Hazan was recently asked to serve as a consultant with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHSS) in an initiative by the surgeon general to combat childhood obesity.
